    Hi,

Does anybody know if there is such a thing as, a lettering size graph or formula to work out what the optimum size of lettering is for legibility at a given distance?

I’ve been asked to produce signs with lettering big enough to be legible at 40 – 50m or maybe a little less!!

    Thanks
    Myles

There is one on here Myles, have you tried a search? Think J. Childs posted a very handy one a while ago.

    Hi Lorraine,

Thanks for that, & I did have a quick search for the one Harry mentioned (Thanks Harry) but couldn’t find it, only found various references to it (it must have been good!!)

    Regards
