    Hi Folks…
I had a small get-together at my shop this past weekend. It was so much fun. The weather was horrid (18f) but we were warm and cozy because most of us wore our pajamas. Here is a group shot, and yes, that is my bedroom. Love- JILL 😆
PS…That is me painting in my garage. We did a lot of that.

OMG, You’ve got my wife’s eyes! 😮 Give em back! 👿

😉 Looks like fun! Is there ever a meet over here in the UK or did someone forget my invite again? 😕

    Cheers, Dewi

Here ya go Dewi…. (<( sorry!
Actually I attended a UK meet in Cork last August!
But nobody wore PJs. And we weren’t naked!
It was much quieter than a USA meet but the level of skill was phenomenal.
I have no clue as to when UK Letterheads congregate,
but perhaps this would be an incentive for you to try it.
My “party” was an informal get-together. Paint and panels
were donated by suppliers, everyone brought some food,
    I traded a sign for the beer, and I rented a port-o-potty.
Some folks stayed overnight, some got a motel. It was fun.
I had folks from PA, Canada, Michigan, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.
It is great fun to share info and fellowship with other signfolk.
And nearly all of them do vinyl as well as paint.
We also did airbrushing and pinstriping.
    love- JILL

I recognize the bloke on the right in the Von Dutch t-shirt, I think he was at the 2002 UK Letterheads meet? Dodgy chin beard though 😆

    Nope, Steve,
He is a local dude, John Podolak. He smells GREAT.
He attended his first meet at Mars in 2002.
He has come a long way since then along with a guy
called Atomik, AKA Matt the Hat. He had to leave to stripe a hotrod in Pittsburgh. They pinstripe motorcycles.
    The other folks are L-R
Harris Kohen (NJ), Bob Peach(MA), CJ Williams(PA), Steve Shortreed(ONT),
Mark Neurohr(PA), & Sal Cabrera(PA). Sal may be hosting a meet in Mexico.
The “Letterbabes” are Barb Shortreed, me, and Chris Welker(PA).
    I’m the only single one..haha
And I met yer pal Paul at Cork. He was really cool. Was his dad the fellow who does faux painting?
    Love- JILL

    Hi Jill
Don’t know how I missed this one.. Brill pictures! (hot)
Must have been a great laugh, everyone getting together like that.
Bet there’s not a drop of beer left? (drink1)
I recognise some faces from letterheads.
Its funny, I don’t know how many times folk say to me “they don’t know how I manage to keep up with the work and the site”. I actually think the exact same with barb & Steve Shortreed. We all manage somehow I guess! 🙄 😉

thanks for sharing 😉 great stuff..

    Hiya Catalin!
Have you spoken with Donald or Ryan?
Perhaps they can send you the paperwork you need.
    They are both great guys.
And you will love South Carolina!
It is warm and there are palm trees.
Maybe even trailer-trash girls in Daisy Duke shorts!
My great-great-grandfather was in a Civil War prison camp there.
He was a Yankee! I am going to seek vengeance… (:)
(not really) I just want to paint some panels, drink some beer,
    & have some fun.
    Love- JILL (drink1)
By the way, if anyone else is interested in going to a USA meet,
this one will be great. We’d love to break you in!

Looked like you all had fun jill. Dewi, we do have meets in the uk but last years was in cork and so far there is no news about a meet for 2004. All the people usually in the know havn’t heard anything, thats a dang shame cos I havn’t seen my old buddy John Jordan for a while.

Yes, Dewi, that’s him. Looks more like Buddy Holly than a mountie but he has a nice bum and can paint like nobody’s business! A good guy too.
Gotta get him some riggers tho, then he’ll be the ideal man.
See the paint on my thumb? I did 9 panels @ Mazeppa.
You can’t see it cuz of the flash, but there is a wee devil in the basket & he is saying “bloody hell!” Never had time to wipe off the Stabilo pencil.
Finally had some beer & it’s 2am…so here’s a toast to you mate. Couldn’t be more proud of you if you were my own son. Good luck with your shop. I know you’ll do good.
    Love…JILL 😉
I hope your sign show will be good. It has 2 of the main elements of a Letterhead meet: Fellowship and beer! (on the way home)

I understand it now! The road to hell is paved with good intentions 😀

I couldn’t figure it out last night (little too much vino 😕 )

Thank you for the toast Jill 😀 I’m grabbing a little paint tomorrow, finally going to try my hand at some brushwork 😮 And if I were your son, I’d tidy the garage after my all night parties and restock the fridge with beer, honest!! 😉

    Cheers, Dewi
