Dumb question. Does anybody else suspect that latex prints need to SIT/de gas before install? And do others see that latex prints dis colour more easily than solvent prints?

Mark, de-gass, the whole point is that they are cured on the printer. If they are not cured then get heat to it quickly.

Discolour over time? no evidence yet but early days for us.

Print, then laminate, then fit. All within minutes. No outgassing required.
With regards to longevity, same answer as Dave: early days (mine is 16 months old).

Thanks guys, I did a large van wrap yesterday, latex print. The vinyl was tackier than unprinted vinyl and mild heating and streching into recesses discolored the print so had to make allowances. Was fairly humid so was probably why the extra tack but was weird the unprinted areas seemed to have less aggressive glue.

    Mark,
Odd that the unprinted areas would be tackier, the latex ink (having no solvents) don’t attack the vinyl.
I would agree that high humidity would result in the vinyl sticking more.

hm, the lack of discolouring is marketed by HP, although not experienced it yet.
We had good success with Mactac 5529
