Hi Lynn, I went to North Wales on Sunday and never saw a drop of rain, when I got back to Stoke on Trent, everyone was complaining about the storms and what damage they had caused.

You must have gone to the only place in North Wales that didnt have any rain! It threw it down here! :lol1:

Jem, I went to Colwyn Bay, got there about 2.00 left at 6.30, kids loved it,
sunny weather all afternoon just dark clouds out at sea, couldn’t believe how much rain we had when I got back into good old poxy Stoke. -
I was only 5 miles away from my house at a friends garden party. we had no rain, but when i got home my conservatory had 12 holes in the roof about 2″dia, perfectly round. After speaking to next door they told me that they have never seen hail stones so big in there life. just been on to my insurance, no problem, they will pay out. I wish i was at home at the time, i would of liked to of seen it.

Cat, you had the right idea! I decided to go to the beach, left Wrexham, 30 degrees, travelled as far as Heswall 18 degrees and falling, massive thunderstorms and torrential rain,
should’ve gone to Colwyn Bay! :lol1: -
Yes Jem you should have stayed at home or followed me, and Andy which part of England were you in, big hail stones, wow, I would have like to have seen that myself, be on the look out for storm damaged signs there could be a job out there for us all.
