We are on the verge of all meeting as a group (at least 50 of us anyway)

some of us have met some others, some may have talked by pms or phone, or even done business together,

But for those who haven’t, is anyone just a tad nervous of meeting someone who in essence, is a virtual friend?

    Thoughts please?

I havnt seen the floorplan, but the bar is sponsored by rob, so it will be in the exhibition area, and have lots off dolly birds, dressed in skimpy tee shirts. So should be easy to find!

I’d not given the matter any thought Peter, but my first reaction is that normally with any large group of people I would expect there to be a few I really like, a few plonkers, and the majority who I can get along with quite happily. That’s a normal distribution curve I think.

However, with the UKSB, it’s a little bit different. We all have quite a lot more in common than a random group. As one example, we are mostly self employed here and I would therefore expect that, to a greater or lesser degree, most members would share many of my views on the world in general. Therefore I expect Wednesday’s group to have a lot higher proportion of people whose company I enjoy than I would normally expect.

So, no, I don’t think I am nervous at all. Although perhaps I should be! 🙂

I’m more concerned about whether to go to the NEC on a bike or in the Chrysler 300C.

    Only kidding Phill. 😀

Although Chrysler are currently offering 48 hour test drives and I intend to take advantage of that once I can arrange a couple of days away.

i was in the local dealer on Sunday and they have a slightly used one in my colour. It was a 3.5 petrol though, otherwise I might have bought it.

Yeah, I looked at those as well as a replacement for Jenny’s Discovery. Firstly, with those emissions, I don’t think I could be happy with the tax bill. Secondly, it’s my turn for a new car so she will have to wait.

See. Chivalry isn’t dead here. 😀

John, as usual, you are a true gent,
no doubt you always take the weight on your elbows as well 😉

I wouldnt buy any model of jeep, but if they want me to evaluate one, I’m happy to do so…

    Hi dawn

There is a post somewhere by Rob that we are meeting at the ‘Signmakers Bar’, sponsered by UKSB. It is on the right-hand wall as you walk in.

Even better, we are doing the rounds of the Pub exhibition first (Seeing as we are in the process of buying a boozer!)

Talk about killing 2 birds etc….

No cameras – no evidence. 😀

i’m sure someone will break that rule though, so you will soon be seeing decadence in action.
