We have worked fairly closely with the supplier of this system and market it ourselves. I would advise that trying to a) save a few pennies on materials or b) trying to source new media is a waste of your valuable time.
Many hours of research in sourcing and testing has been put into this concept so to try and re-invent the wheel would only waste your time.
With the profits available i would spend “more time” in selling and marketing.
Also are you prepared to scrap the machine you have if you “test” a new media and it buggers it up !!
New media will be available i’m sure and prices will fall when more and more is “sold”.

But, I am not searching for new, or indeed different material, but the same material that is supplied in suitable sizes for our machine.
ie not 1220mmx100mtr rolls, which would last us forever, but something around 8.5 inch by whatever length. To fit through our A4 size printer
