    Hi Robert

I believe the reason for this is that you’ve managed to make and keep the board very British.
Unlike other boards, this one as not been hijacked by other countries.
There is a good selection of expats and other overseas members on the board and they make an enormous contribution, but the overall theme remains British. The discussions are of Cox Plastics, Europoint, cups of tea and Tranny vans; all helped on its way with good old British humour.

I for one feel at home there and not like an outsider looking in, apart from when I see all those dragons in the left hand column, then I have my doubts. 😆 😆

    Keep it up that man.

I really enjoy this board, I have been logging on at letterhead.com since the mid 90’s, and have found that an invaluable source for many things sign related, and through there I was directed here.

Even after living here in Sweden for 14 years, I still feel very British, and really enjoy alot of the help and tips here, and enjoy trying to help where I can, I maintain my daily visits to letterheads but feel this is closer to home, and maybe on a trip back to the UK will get to meet a few poeple from here.

I have spoken to Mike the sign on the phone, bought the CD, that and his help through posts here is a real eyeopener, and there’s a friendly atmosphere here and a great bunch too, who seem always willing to help out,

    thanks for that 🙂

I would like to second what you have said Alan, I think this site is a great tool for any signmaker based in the UK. Before I came across this site I used to look at some of the other boards but like you felt like an outsider, often not understanding their terminollogy and they different brand names which I didnt know etc so I spent little time on them and never made any posts.
Having read what I have just written I hope the overseas visitors to these boards dont see themselves as outsiders as I like to think of us as one big Global community.
