Is that a joe bloggs price or a mates price John?

I was guessing £600ish (ex the dreaded) for joe bloggs but curious what others would put it out at, I don’t tend to take on anything this big because I’m on my own and they just take up to much time single handed 😕

    I’m with john,

regardless of what I could do it for, I wouldn’t want to do it for less than £500, looks like loadsa messing to align it all on the van, then back and forth side to side to check measurements!

just had a mate tell me I was too dear to do his connect, about 4 greens involved, woulda been about £430 to anyone else, I went in with £320 as a mates rate, plus two other jobs, he’s going for a second opinion(price)! a few years ago i’d have dropped price, now I don’t want to! we can easily spend more time and money trying to find ways to save on a job or re design than it’s often worth.

    Thanks John, Hugh

I really hate doing jobs for friends and family, you always know they expect it done for next to nothing or twenty quid tops 🙄

I think it was just a sunny day when they took the photos Dave 😉

I can guarantee it wont be that sunny again when the 5-7 year cast is being fitted 🙄

I’m suprised at that Peter, I thought you would have been 599.95 😉

    I was doing a sign for a ‘mate’…

I quoted them based on using an off cut of acrylic. It was mega cheap, when I first started, so was more concerned with getting experience.

They dragged their heels for months about it, then threatened me that I had been working on this for 3months, and if it wasn’t up by the end of the month then they would go else where.

I never replied – and still there’s no sign up. :lol1:
