large quantity small foamex 3mm panels required
morning all
i have an inquiry for approx 900 3mm foam panels sizes are 😮
40mm x 60mm and 120 mm x 60mm approxbefore i ring my local supplier who normally cuts free of charge panels etc
any body know a supplier who can cut and supply these quantities dust free!
or would this do the job accurately

I guess most proper companies could, but Amari defiantly can.
They may stick a few quid on for doing it, but it’s never bad. I had thousands of 3mm boards cut about post card size once.

i doubt they will do that amount of cutting free of charge mate…
it will be time consuming and accuracy will be out unless CNC cut.
yes the big wall saws will do it no sweat, but your cutting so many and so small. maybe im wrong and they will be able to do it, but ide have thought a trade router service would be the way to go here? -
I have had similar sizes cut before by someone local. Had no issues with accuracy but the dust free part will probably be a problem for most sheet suppliers but this could be over come compressed gas.

Why not have them digitally printed then hand cut with Stanley and Straight Edge. 3mm Foamex is an easy cut and it would be dust free. Probably take just about an hour if set up right on a 2440mm x 1220mm sheet

Amari have just cut me 150 300mm x 75mm boards out of 6mm foam with no cutting charge, and I got the delivered, along with so others bit next day but one.
One job I did some time ago had a ridiculous amount of cutting, that cost me an additional £15. Why would anyone use any other option or company when the answer is this simple.
