• Lamppost Sign

    Hi

What would be the easiest way to attach a small dibond rectangular "Private Parking" sign to a lampost. Would it be some form of screw banding and would it be easy for the customer to fit themself.

    Many thanks

    Russ

Hi russ i have used cable ties on small no parking signs etc on lamposts with no problems i use them with hard plastic cable tie mounts you can get self adhesive ones but i normally pop rivet them on

Easyest would be heavy duty cable ties, cheap as chips from srew-fix but available everywhere. Just cut 2 slots or holes in the centre, top and botom about 40mm apart,

You can also buy jubilee type clips to cut to any length, from auto shops.
If its on a public lampost, it will get removed quickly anyway….

two teck screws through the face into the pole, done and dusted in a minute. this way it won’t slide or spin.

didnt think of that actually 😕 :lol1:

reason i said it was because i was fitting similar to palaside fencing last week and one also onto a road sign post, all temp stuff but was pretty solid with just a couple of screws.
