  • Laminate / PPF for MTX Bike?

Posted by Stuart Miller on April 29, 2013 at 4:50 pm

Been asked to install a laminate to protect MTX panels & graphics.
Any body with experience in this recommend what to use and any handy tips?

No experience Stuart but would have thought a stone chip film would have been your best bet & as a tinter you probably already have more experience of those than most.

Convex do laminates for such application

I know Arlon do appropriate stuff: high tack adhesive digital film Arlon DPF8000 (I use it, very good) + thick Heavy Duty Laminate Arlon 3590 (about 300um thick!!)

Do you only need to laminate current graphics or you also have to print them?

I’m not in UK so can’t help for any supplier.
