I have recently been offered a couple of Kippax semi automatic screen printing machines c/w pneumatic squeegee drive, automatic peel off and type 1 printing head. I don’t know much about these apart from the fact they are about 6 years old, been fully serviced and in use until 2 months ago. Has anyone had any experience of this type of machine and if so what ‘challenges’ does the operator face and how reliable are they. Any info greatly appreciated.
If anyone else is interested in this equipment please drop me a pm.

I used to use a very similar machine about 15 years ago and if my memory serves right, it was called an argomatic!

The answer to your question is not an easy one. It depends on a few things.
Do you already know screenprint process? Inks, substrates, film work, etc?
Have you got the space to run them, you will also need drying racks as far as I’m aware they don’t have in line drying?

I really think its down to screen process experience

Sorry if this isn’t to helpful. but please come back to me if you have any more questions.

    Cheers

Lamby, I know a little about the process, but it is not something I am over familiar with. There are drying racks, dryers, inks, screens, cloth printing table, etc all included in what is being disposed of. As far as I can ascertain, the machines can have (although not in this case) have inline dryers fitted.
