Yes, ive known and used Ken’s services from way back before we had a Roland PC60. got to be about 11-12 years now. He was in my place a few weeks back and had a look around the truck training unit.
It’s terrible news, he was the perfect gentleman and very good at his job.
I had heard on Monday but its not something you like to spread until its confirmed. like Brian i received that confirmation by email earlier today.
Best wishes to his family…In the off chance someone didnt get this bulk email sent out to all…
I am sure this would be ok for me to do…
______________________________________________Ken passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday 16th. Ken enjoyed his work and had good relationships with many customers and suppliers. Despite saying he would semi retire last year, he never really did as the work really kept him going. Thanks to all of you who have supplied Ken with work over the years.
We have been asked by a number of people for the funeral details. We have held off sending this mail until we had all the arrangements in place. They are as follows.
The funeral will take place at Mortonhall Crematorium – Pentland Chapel on Saturday 25th at 11:30 am. All are welcome, please no black ties. There will be family flowers and a collection for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, a charity close to all our hearts as two of Ken’s Granddaughters have CF. There will be a light lunch provided at the Pavilion Tusitala nearby after the service, again open to all. For those who cannot attend and would like to make some sort of tribute, donations to the CF Trust will be passed on.
Kind Regards
Margaret, Kirsty & Kenneth

So sorry to hear this. Ken has serviced my printer and cutter over the years and could always be relied upon to provide a fast and efficient service. He was out fixing my printer only last year and mentioned to me then that he was semi retired. Shame he didn’t get to spend much time enjoying his reduced work load. He will be sadly missed. Condolences to his family and friends.

Really sorry to hear this.
Ken was one of those all too rare people who knew his stuff and charged very fairly.
He was always so reliable.
RIP.

We too had the pleasure and privelige of Ken’s expeience and integrity. Fortunately his visits were infrequent but when he did come, it was always at a crucial time when essential maintenance or repairs were required. His quiet and confident manner was re-assuring. He never let us down and his charges were fair.
