    Morning all

For those with a Keencut Javelin, do they cut through composite?

I’ve had it up to hear with trying to cut them with a knife and feel i’m gonna catch myself one day even with a safety ruler.

Just trying to find an economical way of cutting them with as less mess as possible.

    Thanks

I don’t have the Javelin, but the Evo.

We use it to score one side then crack it, only do it with off cuts, if it’s a big job we still order in pre cut.

What we find is you get a little lip, where the blade’s cut the aluminium.

We’ve found David that if you score really gently you can still snap the material just as easy but without the lip you’re talking about. Its amazing how little you need to score it! Larger pieces are a pain to cut in that way unless you’ve 2 people cos your arms aren’t long enough to bring the cutter from one side to the other 🙁
