Got a Whatsapp message can you price this I have the artwork, you can use this. (see image)
You can have the job if you are cheaper than the bloke that done the artwork.
Told him between €1200-€1600 I think at this point he fell over, I was told I was mad looking for that kind of money the other guy is charging €700.
Glad I am not looking for work. :bigsmile: :bigsmile:

I dislike this kind of customer, they take somebody’s time & idea & hawk it round to save a few quid. I usually tell them I won’t do it as they are technically shoplifting

If your paying staff to wrap it you need €1200+. If it’s a one man band he probably could do it for €700 but has very little out of it & when he gets busy for being cheap has no margin to pay staff. Or else it will be like many wraps I see when done cheap vinyl used & all the grooves cut out [emoji85][emoji85] you pay for what you get!

The artwork is a different matter. When someone comes to me with artwork clearly done by someone else I’ll tell them straight, they need to buy the artwork from the originator or we design afresh from £40ph!

In cases such as this I find it highly unethical to copy artwork.
I just wouldn’t re-produce someones else’s artwork unless the customer owned it and in this instance I fear they don’t.
It looks like the same old chestnut that someone has done the artwork without confirming the job with a deposit….But looks like they will end up getting the work due to their price quoted.
Not my kind of customer, someone that goes around banding someone else’s artwork to try and save a buck.

Put your company name in watermark diagonally across the artwork until you’ve been suitably recompensed. After so many years in the business I think you get a ‘nose’ for clients that are likely to do the rounds using your artwork, and I’ve done this many times in these cases. If they have any conscience at all they won’t hawk it around, and any other sign business they present it to can’t honestly overlook the situation.
