Just a little bit of a rant…
Hi all, i will apologise now before i start….
On Monday i spoke to a lady who owns a little hair salon with a very faded sign who wanted a cheap fix to brighten the sign up a little.
So i went to have a look and it appeared that it was a 5mm white foam board sign with a printed but un-laminated section.
I did suggest a new sign allowing her to create a new look but no…She said she simply wanted me to cover it with something similar but in red rather than the original blue….
Anyhow i probably shouldn’t complain because she was happy with it and gladly paid the invoice…

Of course you are both right, i shouldn’t complain, they were happy and i got paid…i guess i am just becoming a grumpy old sod… 🙄

Personally I’m very dissapointed….
When I read the title of this thread I was expecting to see a really good rant. Turns out it was hardly a rant at all.
I reckon the quality of ranting has gone downhill on this forum these days 🙄

I think the point Stephen was trying to make was he wanted the job of making a new sign instead of botching the old one.
And Mr. Fenton, The only reason it’s quieter on here now is because our little grumpy friend left a while ago mate! 😉 -

Yeh ranting ain’t what it used to be. I didn’t see one fucking in that rant. I don’t really think you can call it a rant unless there is at least one fucking in it.
