Hi Lamby and welcome to the boards, as Robert says tell us a little about yourself and what you do. You will soon find out we are a nosey bunch on here.

Thanks for welcoming me to the board. I thought I might explain a couple of things, my name is Steve Lamb, hence you may see me sign a post Lamby, not to be confused with Robert Lambie of course.
I have been a Lamby (nickname) for years so I hope I can continue here as well. Or should I sign off Steve? hmmm
My company is Rising Signs and I have been operating for 4.5 years, altough I have been in the trade for 10 years and before that 7 years in screenprinting with the odd sign thrown in now and then.
I suppose like most sign companies we produce a wide range of signs but we prefer to producing graphics for vehicles. We are only a small company with 2 employees and me, but I like it like that.
We can also offer all litho related printing if anyone is interested as we have a sister company in- house producing all kinds of print.
More later!Lamby

Hey Graham I have some friends some from Taz, can,t quite remember where from now, I’ll find out. Their surname was Jensen, I know Taz is quite small, a village island, ha, ha.Robert thanks for the welcome and there is another extension to that nickname of mine, a bit sickly will let you all know later.
Haven’t quite grasped the smilies yet.Lamby

Steve,
It wasn’t in this area. It was a lift company in Watford.
Did you ever get to do any?

Ahh yes I remember the customer, i never really got a foot in the door properly there, even though I know some of the fella’s that work there, decision makers too.
Correct me if I’m wrong but all the work went through a fleet- leasing company. Are you still producing graphics for them?

Steve,
Yes, we’ve been doing them for over ten years now, but I have no reason to suppose that we get them all, which is why I asked the question.
The vans tend to come a lot very quickly followed by a long quiet period. It could just be their buying schedule, but that sort of pattern often indicates that the work is being shared.

We asked the question a few times but were told that we had to speak to the leasing co. When I did, you’ll be pleased to know that they gave us the cold shoulder. We did do a few repairs now and then but not for at least a year.
We do venture up there now and then, we currently have a project on for the T.A.Cheers
