Hi all, just done some graphics for a car, what would everybody charge for this, logos where supplied to us in vector format, we just did the white graphics, and we did 2 vehicles together, it took an hr to do from cutting, weeding and applying per car.

    Thanks Gary

I know people that’ll do that for £40 a car or others that will be just under £200 a car.

Don’t worry about other people’s prices – work out what it’s worth to you to be happy doing it and the customer doesn’t feel ripped off…and that’s the right price.

i was keen to see what other companies charge, we have charged £100 per car, but if other companies are charging £200+ we need to change our prices.

The thing is – hardly anybody on here discusses their charge rates openly as it varies so much with overheads, location, profit margins etc.

Like I said, if you and the client are happy at £100 then that’s the right price.

As David has said prices will vary considerably depending on a number of factors, No point asking what others are charging in different parts of the Country if you are doing work like this and competing against other local companies.
You need to find out what other sign companies in your area would charge for a job like this & then decide where you want to position yourself in relation to those companies, ie: do you want to be the most expensive local company , the cheapest local company or somewhere in between.

I would say you are about right there Gary.

I believe you MUST have a pricing structure of some sort or you are leaving yourself wide open.

Always up sell your product where you can.

Up sell based on quality of materials you use, professionalism of your service, design work and installation practice, after sales etc. it isn’t always about "price comparison".
