Very nice work as always Jason, thanks for taking the time to load your work mate.

I am guessing its the rear metallic Grey that’s the wrap then the orange laid in?
with that in mind, i would imagine getting that orange band to align correctly going in and out those panel waves being rather difficult?

what vinyls did you use in this instance?

reason i ask is unless pieced in, that number plate recess would have been pretty demanding on the vinyl ide imagine. just asking mate as its always good to hear how wrappers have acheived doing this sort of thing and their expereince trying to get there.
many imagine, in principle of wrapping this sort of thing is just stretch in the vinyl, but theres much more to it and only some vinyls will be up to the job.

anway, great to see your stuff again jason…

    Hi Rob

    cheers mate!
your right there, grey metallic is the wrap then the orange dropped in.
The way i got the orange all laid in is with pinline the section up, wrap the orange in and trim away! (new blade of course!) nightmare getting the two sides to match up!

the number plate i dropped a section in and was very careful in hiding the joins, using what i call light lines, or the part where a reflection hits, i use this to kind of take the eye away from the line.

i dont imagine there is a material on the market that will wrap through there (and if the salesman says there is, tell him he is lying!)

i used the avery 900 series, and the graphite is the hardest material i have ever used to wrap, tears very easily and grabs like nobodys business!

cheers james, i was a i bit dubious when i first put them together, they are a kind of run on from when i did the Porsche GT3’s for them, then it was a flat grey and orange, but the metallic works quite well i think in place of the flat grey.
