    Guys,

I have tried and failed badly in finding somewhere that sells my favourite tweezers…..

There is a chance the ones Spandex do are the correct ones but I’ll be blowed if I’m spending £13 carriage on some £12 tweezers to find out they are the wrong ones!

I ordered some from America which in the pic looked like mine but no, they aren’t

They have AA USA stamped on them

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance

    Rich

    Upload a picture…

We’ve a customer who’s a surgical instruments supplier, and we get all sorts of useful tools from them, scalpel handles, blades, tweezers.

A second vote for the ones that Steve has shown.

I have the same ones which I have used for 9 years!

Unfortunately they did come from Spandex.

Never used them… find a 10A scalpel & left index finger to be the ultimate weeding tools.

Just ordered a couple of pairs of those Chris..nice one.

lost all my tweezers I think they get kicked under the bench and end up in the rubbish…..Its bizzare how you get used to a certain pair of tweezers for weeding, use a weeding pen at the moment but not the same

The ones that Steve posted are indeed the Spandex ones.

They were in the kit box that came with their GS-15 plotter 23 years ago, I’ve been using mine since then every single day and would not be without them.

I bought some more since then (2 pairs from spandex about 21 years ago and more recently a couple on the internet a couple of years ago), but I still use my first pair.

    Regards
    George

    Tweezers???

Watch this video tutorial of me weeding and you will see my delicate weeding weapon of choice is a metal Stanley Knife! 😀

Exactly the same here Aaron, but i cant with scalpels either…
all our lads use stanley knifes too. means your weeding and cutting etc with a one blade does all type thing. other than chopping finger tips off its safer too. :lol1:

    Everyone has different poisons!! lol

I’ve had them for 18 years and they are amazing.

Fallen off van roofs, been driven over, give them to ‘the boy’ to strip a van for the afternoon and they end up snapped. To say I wasn’t happy is an understatement! These youngsters have no idea have they, he actually found it amusing to a certain degreee……

On another, however slightly linked, note how many youngsters do you have to go through to find a decent one????? 😕

I started out using the tip of a scalpel as others have mentioned, had a guy working for me for a while who asked where the tweezers were for weeding & had to buy some as he couldn’t manage without.
When they arrived I had a try & couldn’t get the hang of it but John just wizzed through weeding stuff so obviously depends what you are used to using.

Richard could you rephrase that last sentence in your latest post please :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
