No, you aren’t ALL eccentric (just like we aren’t all igloo dwellers) but enough of you use strange enough pictures of yourselves on this BB to support the argument, don’t you think?
By the way, I’m not being at all critical: we’re not all quite “right” across the pond either…

Eccentric? think that’s a bit of a misnomer (look it up Robert 😉 ) we’re not all like Ozzy Osbourne and the royals, also we’re not all terribly polite and proper and don’t have Di c k van Dyke mockney accents “Cor blimey! Mary Poppins etc. etc. oh! and London’s not foggy any more 😉

You can apply “eccentric” to the whole “Barmy Army”, cricket fans who follow the English cricket team down here to watch them get slaughtered by the Aussies. They do seem to have a great time though.
It could be the “socks and sandals” thing. Wearing socks and thongs or “jesus creeper sandals” outside in public.
Going to the beach without shade and no sunblock…”I just want to get a tan”.
Trying to actually eat christmas dinner at the beach. I’ve tried it…sand tastes terrible on turkey.

Leeroy when I was a kid on holiday with mum and dad the old man used to wear black socks and brown sandals 😮 Noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! that was 30 years ago and the old bugger would still do it if my mum let him 😀

well leeroy wouldnt be caught dead in sandals and socks on the beech mate… 😎 but in the night-clubs? 😎 now thats totaly different. 😉 if you ware white socks with sandals the ultraviolet lights catch them and send the women wild (hot) 😆 😆 😆 😆 -
I have to agree with Phill, whats wrong with black socks and brown sandals?
