I’m always wary of these “OEM” Disks. they dont look real somehow and they come with no manuals or even an official box. Saying that i’ve never tried them. But surely expensive software at these prices….. sets bells ringing a bit.

    What software are u after?

    Hi,

we have bought quite a lot of OEM software, most notably when we did a complete upgrade of or whole network.

all the PCs were changed to XP Pro with Adobe Creative Suite CS, MS Office 2003 Pro. all worked superbly no problems at all just cost me around £200 per PC instead of £1700 ish.

Downside if you can call it one is to be squeaky clean and comply with the law you should by them with a new hard drive, processor etc.

WATCH OUT IF YOU DON’T because in the small print it says that if you don’t you are using UNLICENSED SOFTWARE! NICK NICK big costs if you get caught out!

    Regards,

    Johnboy 😎

    Interesting stuff Johnboy

Excuse me for being thick but what is the point of all that…….

The new hard drive and stuff, I mean

Are they saying it should only be loaded onto a totally new computer?
Or that you can use your existing computer and should rip out the hard drive and processor and replace
