  • is there vinyl suitable for a polished floor?

Hi all hope you all had a nice Christmas 😀 Well I have been asked to put down direction signs onto a polished concrete floor (you know the usual footprints and fork lift truck symbols) What I would like to know is there a suitable vinyl or do I need a stencil and paint?
    Many thanks in advance

There are products designed for floors. One I know of is called “Floor Talkers”,and is a two part vinyl and clear laminate system. I’m not sure who manufatures this but it was sourced for me by Europoint display a few years ago. Ask your local supplier if they have anything similar.

Oracal do a non slip floor system mate, give your local distributors a call, I am sure they can help.

There is a place over here called Grimco that sells these stencils.
The material that they come on is an almost greasy feeling heavy duty paper, not cardboard per se.
I believe the floor must first be cleaned with muriatic acid, then you have to use a special floor enamel.
I think I’d go to an industrial paint supplier and pick their brain about it.

im positive we had prices a few months ago from europoint on the oracal type. in the past i think it was fineline/autac that gave me some.
as has been said, comes in two parts. or “i think” you can buy the anti-skid laminate on its own.
