Is there any way to cut from Singlab e6 direct to the Cadet, I’ve tried downloading the Versacamm driver from the Cadlink site but get stuck in the install wizard and can’t go any further. I’ve had a search of the boards about using Corel (which I now have ver 11) to cut, but can’t find the Cutchoice program on the Roland site, can only find the upgrade for this program. I’ve got the Roland Colorip installed with the machine. I’d appreciate any pointers in any direction. Thanks.

Define a custom colour called CutPath in Corel (USe the EXACT name with upper and lower case letters) , make your cuts a hairline with that colour , export to EPS and open the EPS in the rip , you will see the cut lines are dashed and flashing. In the colorip disk and in help , it explains exactly how to do it in corel , under support at http://www.rolanddga.com , there is also n explanation if you choose colorip when selecting what support you want.
If you want to cut only , then in the rip setup , choose a Cut only machine from the drop down list of machines (not sure if this IS the case with the 300 but with the soljet you can choose a cut only soljet or a print and cut one)
Rip and print the file and it should cut.

I have a Versacamm and run signlab e6 and corel 11. I have been informed that it is not possible to print and cut from signlab yet as they have only developed a BETA version, is anyone else having the same problem printing and cutting from SIgnlab e6? Cutting only is fine, no problems.

Thanks for your help I’ve finally managed to cut something. I did follow the instructions in the colorip for Corel but couldn’t bring up the CutPath hairline easily, somehow it came up in my last test and it cut ok. Thanks.

When you say you can cut ok is that out of Signlab, as I’ve been told you can’t cut direct from Signlab. If you are is there any settings needed for the Cadet \ Versacamm.

You can Print and Cut from Signlab e6 to the versacamm and cadet. You will need to download the latest driver from the cadlink.com website (you have to be registered user to do this). Once on the site go to Support and Training and then Software support files and download the SP300 patch. Run this and it will install the Versacamm driver into the Print and Cut printers list. Configure port for the USB port of choice, and then find the Pass Through Installer folder (Cadlink\Photoscript7) and run the Passthru.exe and again select the USB port of choice. You are now set to go. For Print and cut jobs you Must have a Contour cut line or no cutting will take place. For Straight plotting I have a driver I can E-mail to you if you contact me.

**Be aware, the versacamm driver is a large download**

Thanks for your advice, I’ve more or less followed what you say with the help of Cadlink Technical Support, I had to upgrade to e6 revision 13 and the versacamm driver. So far with limited testing I can print and cut. I now see the ads for Signlab 7 promising an easier life for print and cut I’m sure there will be some info on that soon going through the boards.

    Cheers
