Hi guys and gals, got a 4m x 60cm tray to fit very soon, this is my first.
from what i can see on the ashby brochure it is fairly easy to fit. aluminium angle top and i assume bottom also.

Im guessing, you fit the angle on the top first, making it level etc. and then fit the bottom angle at set width of the inside measurement of the panel. for example say 59.4cm apart all the way along, then offer up the tray to the angles, push over top and bottom then screw in from top and bottom. Am I right??

Is there any tips and tricks to make things easier/smoother???

    cheers in advance, matt

Got it in one Matt. That’s exactly what I do. They’re actually really easy to fit. Would be interested if there are any tips/tricks to make it any easier right enough! 🙂

I take 2 or 3 pieces of 2×2 timber and cut 2, 3mm slots the depth of the inside tray measurement -5mm and
after leveling the top angle suspend the bottom one using the timbers, keeps it perfectly parralel while you fix using knock through fixing, (predrill) the angles

That is good Peter! I’ll need to keep that in mind next time too. Should make it even easier.
