Hi Freddy
There certainly is such a machine! Try Rolands website – they have a machine that prints white. I believe it’s CMYK and instead of light Cyan & Light Magenta – you have a white ink. The inks are ecoSol inks – no toxic fumes!

hi freddy, roland have just launched the exw soljet which prints white,
i recon b&p Will do the same with the grenadeir soon, i would wait & see
whats happening at sign uk next year, should be intresting if its a success
then i think the gerber edge is dead? -
great input, i like the bit about the ‘the gerber is dead”
if it is i think its price has dug the grave,
they must have something up their sleeve other than their arm
or they are not listening to what people wantcheers freddy in sunny scarborough

quote :then i think the gerber edge is dead?
when metallics, fluorescents are available in ink form,
i would never ditch the edge as mine makes over 2k a month in machine labels, printing on destruct vinyl, reverse printed flood coated labels, safety signs the list goes on, but for vehicle graphics/banners it has been replaced and we use our large format machine…….

😳 sorry adrian, i knw what you mean! the edge does nice stuff on metallic silver & gold, i did a test print on my cadet printing on to metalic gold & they came out ok, but the inkjet i dont think will ever be able to do
reverse metalic gold on to clear? -
I’ve been experimenting with my Cadet printing onto silver vinyl and I’m getting some really good effects, gives colours a metallic effect, not as good as proper metallics but nice all the same.
