is there a way to have rounded edge to a contour?
Hi all,
is there anyway in having a smooth rounded edge to the contour of a object with 90* edges etc. I can do it when i apply an outline but cant seem to do it with a contour. The contour edges just follows the original object edge. I think the Flexi contour does apply a rounded one. Am i missing something silly (?) (?)Alex.

you could always break it apart and use the corner rounding tool on the contour. Is that what you mean?

I forgot to mention that at the moment I’m breaking the contour apart and rounding the edges off manually but i just thought that there was a easier way to create a rounded contour in the first place.

Either use the outline tools, convert this to object and weld which is the way you describe but I think I have a script somewhere which does this to contours but I think the fillet tool is as convenient.

Yes applying the large outline does the trick, although a round the houses way. I’ll keep this in mind next time i require it. 🙂Thanks very much for your advice.
