    Hi all,

I’ve just bought a new laptop with Vista’s Windows Mail on it.

I’ve copied the pop 3 and smtp details over from my old laptop which had outlook express but I can’t remember my password……..Is there a way of retrieving this as I definitely haven’t got a copy of it anywhere?

glen. if your old computer remembered the password, you should just be able to transfer the settings by importing them to your new comp.
other than that you will need to call your service provider and get them to reset your password

By transferring, not copying , vista should be able to log you in

if its your web based account e.g. mrglen@aol.com then it will be your login password.. if it is something like mrglen@supersigncompany.com then your ISP login details maybe the same or if you have a website, then it will be via that.
