Is there a way of creating truetype fonts in coreldraw

I seem to remember that there were problems with certain versions of Draw and ttf creation but try exporting as pfb. XP does support type 1 fonts and this may work.

Here are a couple of links I found on Google
http://desktoppub.about.com/gi/dynamic/ … corel1.htm
http://www.csupomona.edu/~jcclark/fonts/fontinst.htmlDidn’t read throught them but a bunch of links come up if you search for CorelDraw Font Creation
Fontlab sells a bunch of product for this as well http://www.fontlab.com/index.php

Paul – pfb – Adobe type 1 font, the filter is under the ttf one. I’m using Corel V12 but its been in previous versions I’ve used, if you still can’t find it you may need to go to the installation disk and do that bit manually.

Paul, in Corel Draw 11 you just make your font and export it as TTF.
It works ok on my PC.

Insert corel 11 disc, click install, modify, main applications, scroll down to import/export file type, tick the box. You’ll find the TTF option is back in the export window.
