Not tried it yet though the rep assures me it’s very good (of course he would).

Previously when needing to print on reflective I have printed on clear and applied to white reflective.

    does it work?????

never really got on with printing onto clear, done a few lat reverse car stickers, but the quality isnt really there!

I actually printed on clear this week and mounted on stainless steel tags to go on cranes in a chemical plant, but it wasnt really vibrant enough, (althought the customer thought it was great) but I was thinking next time to print on a double pass to make it a bit more vibrant, not sure how to do it but i have been told there is functionality in shiraz to allow this feature,

as for the Metamark rep he told me that their new poster paper was top notch, last week

so I run off 10 metres for a photographer and couldn’t get it to dry even after setting the dryer at 44 degrees and worst still i ruined my new ospreys shirt when some of the print set off directly on to the front of it.

talking of Rugby what happened to your Rugby Team yesterday? did you put your ladies tiddlewinks team out on the field by mistake?, never mind,. they made great cannon fodder anyway.

    kind regards

I used regular Mactac white reflective for printing and it works pretty well. not 100%, but does work.
i used it for a fair bit of mactac printing during summer last year but switched when oracal brought out their purpose made digital print reflective. prints perfect using regular vinyl profile. prints like any other digital vinyl actually.

Ahhh you noticed our teams tactics, luring you into a false sense of security 😀 😀 😀 😀

I found that with the metamark poster paper but did get it working nicely though can’t remember the settings, I’ll check tomorrow and let you know.

I hate all these companies who say any profile will do as long as it a Matt one, they should really send the stuff out to be profiled by Companies supplying the software.

I take my hat off to shiraz, I have a monthly maintenance contract with them and they will profile anything I send them (20 metres they need).

Some stuff as even come back as unsuitable to run, they have a brilliant bloke in there london office called Per gandez ehos in charge of profiling.
