hi ian, had a go the other day on my cadet, my dad came round, he is an artist, he gave me a bit of canvas to try, it printed perfect!!! no problem
at all, i was a bit nervous though as you would want to make shure the canvas didnt warp & cause a head strike! if you do it make shure the canvas is nice & flat, eddie -
Just bought 5 meters of soft canvas from Hexis today. Not had time to try it yet. Does anyone know what profile I would use on EcoSol Camm!

Recieved a nice sample pack from Uniform.. Printed today but looks a little flat… may have to use some kind of varnish to lift the colours a little

We also get canvas for our JV3’s from Osay in Manchester, the colours can be a little flat sometimes (although i’m not sure if that is our printers or the material 😀 )

I mentionod that we use Oce’ canvas on our JV3-250 in an earlier post.
The quality of that is pretty good but is a little flat, as someone else mentioned. We actually do a large quantity of Canvas prints by Sublimation printing onto a polyester canvas. We then wrap the images around stretcher frames.
The results are of stunning quality.
If anyone wants more info just ask!
Cheers.

Hi
We tried printing onto canvas with our versacamm as an experiment (BAD IDEA) for a start we set it to print at its top resolution, it took for ever and used serious amounts of ink. It was left to dry for a full 24 hours and then we tried to stretch it over a frame, we ended up with an awful lot of cracking in the print and the end result was +*%£^&* terrible. I would suggest a printer which is made for Giclee printing such as the OCE and Epson 10600 for any work on canvas or for any reproduction of a photo or artwork.
