    Hi guys,

Is it possible to import a high resolution jpg into Signlab 5 as a photgraphic record but maintain it`s high resolution for future reference?.

For some reason, when i do this, it looses it`s resolution and looks like it`s been built from lego.

Any idea if this is possible?

    cheers

    Rod

Have you got “show reduced bitmaps” ticked under the view menu?

SL has a lousy screen resolution , one of the reasons I think it sucks. (I have 5 , perhaps 7 is better) It actually IS higher resolution than is displayed. I been looking for some setting that can display better , but it seems its not capable. Perhaps a dealer can help?

I agree with Brian – it does sound as though the reduced bitmaps option is checked – not much that you can do with it in version 5 though high res or not.

I think Signlab V7 does handle photos better than 5 but it is still not good if you compare to Corel and others.
