    Hi guys,

I have been lucky enough to get my hands on a CAMM1 PNC-1000 Plotter yesterday from a friend who’s bike i recently painted. He also gave me the full copy of Signlab he bought but the version is 4.95 (revision 4 it says written on the CADlink CD?) but I’m not sure it will run on Windows XP?

All i want to do it plot Adobe Illustrator EPS-saved outlines . . is it possible to do this to the plotter directly from Illustrator?

Any help would be very welcome.

    Cheers

PS: It has a Dongle for the Serial cable but I have no manual for the CAMM1, is it possible to download driver/info from anywhere about the plotter?

    Cheers

    Hi Beej
I was running v4.95 on XP until recently, so should work fine for you. Can you not download info from http://www.rolanddg.co.uk

You should have all drivers already installed in Signlab, when you’re loading you will get the option to select drivers to install. I seem to remember someone on a helpdesk (possibly Signlabs) telling me to tick all the Roland boxes, to be sure. I’m using a CX24 plotter.

Hope this helps-I’m not the most comp. lit. person, but have had to re-load several times over past year. 🙄
