Is it Friday night yet?
A busy week and a good meal with a bottle of excellent Beaujolais, plus the usual G&Ts and Irish coffees before and after, and it certainly feels like Friday.
The only fly in the ointment is that, in the recesses of my mind, I am aware that it is only Thursday and that I have an important presentation to do tomorrow morning.
Oh well, one more day to get through and then I can switch off for a while.

I’m having a southern comfort, lemonade and lime ……………….. I’m out of brandy 🙁I wish it was Friday …………

Works Christmas party next Thursday, so I don’t see much work being done on the Friday. If I’m feeling benevolentI might go against my natural Scrooge character and give them all the day off.
Then again, I might make them come in and paint the fitting bay floor which is sorely in need of it.

certainly is went to the shop today perchased some brandy cause Marcella said she had none last nite got home and thought thats silly Marcella lives in scotland I live in Luton and I don’t like Brandy !!! 🙄

El-Dee as it is known in this neck of the woods is a cheap alternative and only those with a pallet for the face twisting liquid can stomach it…
unlike Beuck…. for short as its known here.. is a smooth classic that not only puts a smile on many a young person face entering a club for the first time… or a chest on the smallest coward… it also keeps many of her majesties constabulary in unnecessary over time.
