FlexiSign (all flavours) consists of two components.

The first is FlexiSign itself, the second is Production Manager.

FlexiSign is your design package, Production Manager basically drives your cutters and printers.

In a networked environment you might have five workstations running Flexi and one 24″ cutter, one 48″ cutter and say a large format printer. Each of the output devices are connected to seperate workstations.

From any workstation you can then choose which output device to send the job to by selecting the relevant networked Production Manager.

But yes, you do need to purchase seperate copies of Flexi for each machine.

We only bother with the one copy of Flexi on the workstation driving the vinyl cutter as most design work is done in Freehand and Illustrator.

I dont think you need a sepaerate copy of Flexi for each machine to run the Production Manager, youi just need to make sure the you can send file across the network and then the production manager should be able to open the files.

If you know the right people F6.6 is availble on the Blackmarket with the dongle protection removed.

If you want to design and cut on each computer then you will need a full version and dongle for each computer, expensive at at leat £650 a go.

You used to be able to open flexi on the machine which had the dongle attached, remove the dongle and use it to run flexi on another machine etc…. but they “fixed” this in later versions. Now flexi constantly checks for the dongle.

Thanks for yall’s reply. I talked with Flexi Tech Support this morn and guy tells me that netwoking is possible. So i pay him the $35.00 tech fee. Next he decides to tell me that you can cut from many machines in production manager but you can’t design from mutiple machines with one dongle. G THANKS FOR TAKING MY $35.00 then telling me!!!!#@&%$ Ticked me off. Anyway far as the black market dongle. Not gonna risk it along with the other problems cracked software has. Guess ill fork over more cash to Scanvec AGAIN.
    Catch yall later

Rule #2–This aint Mcdonalds, we dont have a 30 second or less production time.
