  • Is anyone able to convert this into .dfx please?

Posted by Gareth.Lewis on August 5, 2009 at 8:45 am

    Hi all!

An aquaintance of mine has a cnc router and needs the attached file converted from .ai to .dfx. He has told me that he is using ‘zylog+’ and ‘aspan’ software.

Any help would be massively appreciated!

    Thanks all!

    Gareth

    Does this .pdf work?

(sometimes .ai files ‘open’ but don’t ‘import’ on my corel – just a thought)

When I tried to open in Illustrator it said it couldn’t but then did.

Here is what it opened in pdf and cdr. You can then export as dxf if it is ok.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers

    Gary

Did you not try to export as a DXF ?????

See, that’s just typical of me. So corel has a .dfx export facility then. Tch! Silly me.

    Thanks Graeme!

    Crikey! I can’t keep up.

Thanks for all the help, It would have been better still if the man had given me the correct filetype!

DXF (not dfx, like he said)

See, I can blame someone else after all!

    Thanks again!
