Invasion of the Copper Heads…
Posted by Robert Lambie on May 23, 2005 at 7:13 pmIt’s like an invasion of the copper heads on the boards lately… 😮
Come on folks; let’s have proper pictures in place? 😕
I don’t mean one of your dog, or a side shot of you line dancing 30 yards away, head and shoulder shot… it is more and more apparent to me these days that folk with profile pictures in place get more replies and help to their posts than a copper head?
UK sign boards is the friendliest sign makers site on the web, profile pictures just add to that feeling, it makes posts so much better to read, when we can put a face to the posts…So how about it? It’s dead easy… just email me your picture at uksigngroup@hotmail.com and remember to include your “site username” ill do the rest. It doesn’t need to be sized or anything, just leave it to us…. 😀
Alternatively you could size your own, click profile and upload it yourself. It’s real easy! 😉Please note: these must be genuine head and shoulder shots. No Marx brother’s disguises or balaclavas please… :lol1:
Please… don’t be a Copper Head all your life! :worry:

I definately agree with the comment about people being more helpful when you have a picture of yourself posted. With more people using computers and the internet instead of speaking in person or on the phone it is nice to see a picture of the person you are “talking” to. It just feels more personal and I really think it helps. Try and tell me you don’t have access to a digitial camera, scanner, camera, picture phone and then you have a valid point for not having a picture posted. And don’t worry, Rob hasn’t linked this site to Interpol yet to search their database of known fellons..otherwise…wait..there’s a knock at the door….. 👿 I’ll remember that Rob!!!! (:)

I agree 100% ……. not that anyone would ever have guessed 😉
Having a pic in place makes all the difference and shows good manners I think.

I suppose that means my crash helmet is out of place too then?
I can take a hint. I’ll change it when I get a minute.
It’s just that my bike is much more interesting than I am.

What about a bald head?
I have reverted to the 1962 version of myself.
Mom used to Scotch-tape bows to my head!

I have to agree with the comments so far, personally I feel that someone who posts a picture is more likely to help others and less likely to be here just for what they can get for themselves. I’m not saying that this is the case its just my own feelings.

and another! great stuff….. thank you phil 😛

Wot’s a Copperhead?
I used to get called that at school, or was it something else? -
well, at the moment the aviatars/profile pictures are blank white with UKSB written in them, some are “Copper heads” and the rest of us have photos in them.
-
I’m thinking of replacing the blanks with something tasteless, well not tasteless but something that will make folk want to have theirs changed.
any suggestions?thanks for the picture Tim, great stuff mate 😀
-
Something “NEWBIE” and “Awaiting picture” written in it
-
Just the words “I’m an ugly introvert”
Might do the (2000) trick
Peter -
Posh Spice’s avatar should do the trick.
God she gives pigs a bad rap :lol1:
-
3 words would do the trick…..”I Shag Sheep”
That’ll get the old photos sorted out.
-
quote Andy Gorman:3 words would do the trick…..”I (oh i swore !) Sheep”
That’ll get the old photos sorted out.
:lol1: :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
That would be funny ….. inappropriate but funny.
