    G/day all–
a constant prob with this Mutoh 38 is that I need to syringe ink from the bottle end of the waste lines to ensure that I can print. I wedge the print carriage back into its parking bay to get a good draw and when the ink flows I am usually ok for the remainder of jobs on hand. QUESTION–When finished for the day should I wedge the carriage back to the same position? Would this prevent the ink from leaving the lines and keep them "charged" or would the ink seep thru the heads till the carts emptied?
Another prob—intermittent –is that the printing sometimes stops when some 20% of the way into a job—-I usually swear– shutdown, relaunch the Flexign file and resend the job. Any answers to the cause?
    Regards and thanks in anticipation.

Not sure about the Ink side of things,
but the intermittent problem could be anything from a faulty ribbon cable to your computer not spooling the file properly,
Try to eliminate the problem by trying it on another computer system for a few days to see if it could be your pc,
if your still having problems then you at least know it’s the printer side,
    Sorry not much help,Ray:)

    Hi Ray,
many thanks for your reply. I use a Mac and so on many occasions I have been told that almost ANY problems are a "Mac thing".
    I will struggle on!
    Regards,
