Does anyone use ink sublimation and can anybody suggest a good quality bulk ink system and inks. I already have an Epson 1290 printer.

    Hi gizzy

I’m going through the same thing at the mo

There are many bulk ink systems on the market and on ebay there are people selling them for as little as £89.

I think what I will end up doing is, I will decide which ink I whan to go with and then buy the bulk ink system from the same people.

That way the two should be compatible and if there is a problem with sat the ink, the ink supplir can’t say “well it must be your bulk ink system”

Check out a couple of links

    http://www.novachrome.co.uk/

    http://www.tropicalgraphics.com/index.html

Lots of good info on these sites also when comparing price, some of the suppiers prices include ink, some don’t.

Have fun and let me know what you find out.

I have a 1290 set up with the Artanium bulk system. It comes with the cartridges and tubes already filled, just fill up the reservoir bottles and away you go. It’s about £350 complete with prefilled carts and 6 bottes of ink (125ml each colour) plus ICC profile. Got it from http://www.thetransferpress.co.uk

    Cheers
