I have discovered a great ink receptive coating for otherwise unprintable stuff
The soljet and the grenadier print up to 1mm thick substrates. Just spray something rigid with artists fixative (We use aerolac made by Plascon) and hey presto , you get a WONERFUL print on it with fair durability. Nice for thin ally , abs , styrene , lexan and fabric , can be done on flexible stuff too. Add a water based protective coating like clearflex or the like and the print is VERY durable.

The artists fixative comes in spray cans and drys even , 2 coats is best , a first coat and and then an overspray.
