What would an average charge for this sign be?

2400mm x 1000mm Full colour print onto ACM with a large square of chalkboard vinyl added in the centre.

Has to be printed as customer is specific about colour values.

    thanks
    Stuart

    I would be around £180.

Here is a chalkboard I did recently, charged £340 for it, was later told that wood artists charge in excess of £1k for the very same thing. Something to think about for all you guys. The customer told me he had been looking for someone to do this for 6 months!!

MDF painted with Chalkboard ink surround is wind fallen Scottish Wych Elm.

Thanks Andy, That does seem quite cheap when I consider my priceguide gives a 1.35 sq m ACM board full colour print at that price.

    This is 2.4sqm.
Price guide gives £263 for full colour ACM before supply and flood coat of chalkboard vinyl,
but usually I find people on here charging more than the price guide so was expecting it more rather than less.

    Any more ideas please?

    Hi Stuart,

I charge £75 per sq mtr for printed vinyl on flat panel ACM and find this to be a great price for both myself and the customer, it is also very easy for quoting jobs. I have done this for all my substrates, it saves making up prices off the top of your head and pondering for a while before submitting a quote, deciding on if you are cheaper or more expensive than other companies.

It does depend on the market place you are in as to how competitive you have to be. Rent, rates, buying power, time and competition etc all play a major part in my quoting system and all these factors may be more expensive where you are.
