Hope you guys may be able to help

My little gold fish (gold fin-ger) isn’t looking too good lately
A friend said to keep it healthy it needs to drink a lot of water
But I’m not sure how much water it should have
Do you guys have any idea?

    Thanks Danny
    I’ll give that a shot

I guess this sort of thing is water of a duck’s back for most folk

Well a gill is about quarter of a pint (for youngsters among us a gill was an old measure of liquid) so if its got gills on two sides that’s half a pint…
You do need to watch it though to make sure its drinking enough probably put half a pint in a bowl and place on bottom of tank and watch it drink its fill……when empty you’ll have to fill it again of course as its probably still thirsty…
