• Importing EPS etc

We Have been using Flexi for about 13 Years and just discovered something I did not know that might be helpful.
When importing Eps files etc the bounding box shows up but when you click it down the design sometimes will not import so we have to import into Corel or Illustrator and resave to be able to use it in Flexi. After all this time I did not know I was doing something wrong. The file types box was set to "all readable" but if you set it to what you are actually importing then it will import properly to that file. I have done this so many times over the years and can not believe I never sussed this before. I know you have to do this in Corel but never thought about Flexi. Hope this helps someone else.

Same but other way round Martin, I only found out recently that when importing into Corel you sometimes get nowhere until you actually select the correct import filter rather than import through ‘all file types’ ……….

Found the same as the standard EPS filter does not work and I have to select "PS, PRN, EPS PostScript Interpreted" filter for them to come in.

I’ve always done this with Corel…Change the import to " Prs postscrirt interpreted" But just can’t believe I’ve never thought of doing it in FLexi.
I Think the reason is that on older versions this was’nt needed.
