brian, why does some vehicle names/badges appear on some vehices and not on others.
do suppliers not have a standard position for them…
the reason i say is. we designed vans to suit the one on the disk but the badges were not on it. when i got there i had to take them off and they exsposed 3 holes in the body.

now i know there is probably good explanation for it. just thought i would ask.
i dont mean a van thats been sprayed as they will be put back on by the guy in the spray shop and probably in wrong position..

so is ther a bog standard position? or do suppliers have various on same vehicle…

Mosstly I think they are standard. When we get artwork from manufacturers some show the position of badges and some don’t. The most recent vans that we have done are mostly done from photographs so will all have the badges on. If you look at some of the very latest vans for example the transit Connect we have put the badges as they are on the van & not just boxes to represent where the badges are. So we are hopefully getting better!

We are trying to put more detail all round really, so are now starting to get all the top views & wheel trims etc.

When I get some time I will try and add badges to those that don’t have them, I wish somebody would invet a 25 hour day.
