impact vehical outline size incorrect
Hi I am needing t0 cut a vinyl background that fits in to the recessed parts of a 20019 citroen dispatch.
however when I have cut the one for the back doors it is not an accurate size
I am using the following set up
Outlines 2018 version CDL "citr0077.CDL"
Signlab cut pro
Windows 10
roland vinyl cutter
any ddvise would be greatfully received

They are not perfect, to be used as a guide only.
Flood the recess with an over sized piece of vinyl and then trim off excess.

Alternative is to use paper application tape fit to recess and draw around the edge. Remove and place on the vinyl/print and hand cut around it. Plenty of water and place in the recess. Same for sides, trace one side and use correct way facing to trace the opposite side using the back of the media.

Hi thanks for your input I all ways thought that impact outlines where spot on anyway I like the idea of the backing paper will do this and keep you updated thanks phil

forgot to say keep the backing paper and roll up and store for any future jobs. I mark up with all the vehicle details written on it. I have several now and it saves doing the initial tracing each time a van comes in.
