Impact Support Thankyou
Posted by Russ on February 8, 2006 at 9:02 amI would just like to say thanks to Brian at impacts for some additional support, I needed an outline of a Nissan which is not in any of the librarys and only given short notice of an enquiry by myself I received an email with some of the vehicles content, now that’s what I call good support.
Thanks a million Brian
Regards Russ

While we are all grovlling to you Brian, I will add my bit, you helped me last week when I couldn’t get my cutter to work with the new PC.
I was the one that rang just as you were running to get the post out on time.
Many Thanks 🙂

Last week I broke one of my vehicle outline discs. Alison phoned Impact and Brian immediately sent us a replacement.
That’s what I call excellent after sales support.
Thank you Brian 😀

Thank you Brian 😀
you broke a CD? 😮 how did you break a cd? Phill 😕 Just curious mate. I have tried destroying CD’s with sensitive data and it aint that easy apart from physically chopping it up. 😛
Nice to hear the Brian offers such good support tho. Well done Brian

The centre snapped when I was pulling it out from its case. Obviously Ozzie CD’s are much tougher than ours or maybe the colder weather makes ours more brittle 😮 Either that, or maybe there was a hairline fracture in the CD that went undetected by the manufacturer (a bit like the stess fractures on comet airliners back in the early 60’s that went undetected until the airliner was subjected to a number of pressurisation/depressurisation cycles)…. I don’t know – it just broke right 🙁

hi all,
the above just brings home the point of copyright, too many people sharing outlines etc wouldn’t allow Brian to give the service that he does. May be the ones who thought it was ok to share outlines will re-consider after reading the above service customers of Brians recieve.Kev

good on you brian, well done….
however….
i think you should call mr fenton up and demand the return of your software.
it has been brought to my attention that phill has been trying to beat some guy on makemeking.com and after many many attempts ran out of CD’s? click the link and make your own mind up….give it a few seconds to load…. 😉

I think the link proves that we still have brain dead teenagers in our community. The sad part is that they will grow up to vote, and may have the power to change government.

My Impact cd broke in the same way as Phill’s, taking it out of the box.
Fortunately, only the week previously, I had got fed up of constantly loading the disc and had copied the whole thing to a hard drive.
Lucky, or what? 😀
