Hiya folks yet again another problem with me!! 😳

Ive laid out my text into a cut file. selected all of it then click on to the cut icon to send it to the cut menu. But some of the text/shadows and reg marks are missing!! In total random places. Ive tried ungrouping them regrouping it as one file. even welding them before i send them to the cut menu but no luck!! but if i select just the letters that are missing they show up on the cut menu.

    Am @ my tether!! :banghead:

your help would be very much appreciated!

    Thanks

    Martin

Martin, have you tried changing the colour of the bits that don’t show up? I’ve had this in the past and just changing the colour made it show up. Don’t ask me why because it wasn’t a transparency or anything like that.
The other thing I found was that although I couldn’t see it in the preview the plotter still cut everything I wanted.

can you post the cdl file?
it could be as Martin describes, that you have a white or transparent outline.
I have come across this before, but to see the file would be good

    Thanks guys

No there no white! There’s blue letters with a black outline with a light blue drop shadow. yes Martin Ive seen that happen before that you cant see it but it cuts it anyway. but i cut a another file with this writing on it and it didn’t cut any of the reg marks. lucky i just reset the cutter after it had cut all the letters. selected just the reg marks and it cut them in the right place over the already cut letters.

possibly on more that one layer? Right click on the layers part at the bottom and collapse all layers.

    Martin.
your design is on 2 pages, just collapse the pages and all will be fine.
watch out for the seatbelt labels on page 2 though!
