    Hi all
Been wondering if there is any software out there
that will create a vector from a image saving the time of tracing by hand which i do on corel draw 12, its ok with simple designs but for those tricky designs can take a age, never got my head around the corel trace program, never really seems to do a good enough job unless its me not using it correctly..
Ive just taken on a huge job that will need alot of images turned into vectors for cutting, there not tricky ones just lots of them so thought of
using some package that will just trace around them…time saving!!!
I also use VMaster Pro software, again that has a auto tracing tool
but just seems not to create a good enough finish..most likely something im not doing!! 😉

Thanks for any info or help

I think corel X3 has a better trace facility, signlab also works for me,, but dont know of a separate program?

Have you considered using vectorwise? Andy is very good and if its a big job,. the cost should be easily past on?

Hi Peter, thanks for the reply.
Yeah ive heard x3 is good..im on 12 at the mo, does the job, been wondering if it would benefit me upgrading to x3??
Been also thinking about upgrading the membership to uksb.
Have you found it worth while?
Not used Signlab much to be honest but if the trace program is good it might be worth a look

    cheers

I used to use Adobe Streamline until they incorporated it into Illustrator CS. I always use this now.

    Cheers,
