I asked questions about doing this quite a while back, i’ve just got back to take a photo of it.

The acrylic is clear, pushed through from the rear with the red stuck on the back of the acrylic, not the face. It makes the letters look like jelly, very good effect.

Is a red acrylic sheet stuck to the back or translucent vinyl? Guessing its the acrylic just wanted to be sure.

jxuereb – I had the acrylic cut from 18mm acrylic (i think, could have been 15mm), not individual letters though. There is one piece of clear acrylic behind the word Deetres that was routed so that the text Deetres stuck out from it leaving 3mm of acrylic untouched so that we could fix this to the rear of the panel. This way no glue or tape can be seen from the outside of the box.
    Hope this is making sense.
We then floodcoated the rear of this piece in red.
The smaller text below is opal acrylic floodcoated in the same red.

Thats a lot of routing 😛

Yes I understand how it was achieved. Very nice work.
