have you run spy bot trackers mate? they slow down your comp and in some cases kill it 🙄

yeh mate.. spy bot search and destroy, i run ad-aware. but andrew showed me a good free one on firday and it seemed to find much more! that was after me running spybpt & adaware.
in the end i just had the comp reformated there was so much crap on it. it was a work comp that we use just for the internet so nothing on it, so no real damage done.. thank god..

You sound like you know what you’re doing so it prolly isn’t security settings in IE…

If I ever get suspicious that something has got through my firewall, AVG, Ad-aware and Spybot S&D I go to computercops.biz, they seem really helpful and know their onions.
They require you to download “hijack this” and post the log file in the topic, that seems to show up any trojans or spyware that may have slipped through the net. (Excuse the pun).

    Good luck!

what was the free scanner you used that picked up more than ad-aware?, just curious because i use ad-aware and thought it picked up most!
